Merseyside is one of the larger and most populous areas of North West England. With a decent sized coastline into the Irish sea, Merseyside includes the major population hubs of Liverpool & Birkenhead, along with St Helens and the whole Wirral.
Although firmly in England, Merseyside has a lot of influences from both Wales and Ireland, and often says to be similar to their culture than the more traditional “English” country. Truly, scousers do march at the beat of their own drum, and it’s reflective in their thriving arts scene.
With a lot of open parks in and around the city, drive in cinemas are becoming popular, specifically in the summer months, so you can find a great drive in cinema near you.
